Carol North-Samardzic Members Updates

The first training course of 2018 will begin on Monday 5th February 2018 at 7pm. it will be held at The Hilda Davis Centre, 185 Bigge Street Liverpool.

The theory sessions will be held over 8 consecutive Monday evenings 7pm to 9pm.  The program is attached.

In addition, the practical sessions (panel operation training at the station) will be held over two hours per week for eight weeks on an evening nominated by trainees at the first session on 5th February.

The course involves two evenings per week for eight weeks. All sessions must be attended to gain broadcasting competency. The course involves a commitment to 16 X 2 hours sessions.

The course costs $50 to be paid on commencement of the course.  This covers hire of facilities and printed material and works out at approximately $3 per session. The trainer is qualified and conducts the course as a volunteer at no cost.

This course is for new members and any members who would like/needs more training.  We have some presenters who are only basically competent on the panel and others who need to learn how Simian operates. Some presenters may need a refresher for Media Law. Those interested in attending should register on carol@893fm.com.au.

Any questions – please ring Carol on 0421 640 755.
