On our web site is a Members Manual and under the heading of ‘equipment’ is a statement that says you are welcome to use equipment that will assist your show. It also says that all equipment has to be signed out and back in again. We need to know where everything is for insurance purposes.
At our recent audit, the auditor sighted the entries of borrowings in the register and was happy that we were tracking equipment.
If you wish to borrow anything send an email to the office and it will be made available to you and it can be signed out and then back in again.
Most follow this procedure.
A number of people borrow the banners to promote their show within their community and that is fine. By booking equipment it can be shared equitably and tracked.
