Record crowds attended local ANZAC Day dawn services in Liverpool, Smithfield & Fairfield marking the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings.
Bigge Park was overflowing with more than 5,000 locals for Liverpool’s traditional dawn service. Rachel Daniels, an year 11 student from Hurlstone Agricultural High School delivered a moving ANZAC Day address (starts at the 33 minute mark in the On Demand replay).
More than 3,000 people attended the Dawn Service at the Smithfield RSL.
In Fairfield, thousands marched down Railway Parade to the local RSL for the Dawn Service & Breakfast.

Commemorative events continue throughout the day at local RSL clubs and at Bigge Park Liverpool between 10am & 4pm.
