Saving lives is just one reason to celebrate the success of Lifeline’s Liverpool store. Last Thursday Lifeline Liverpool celebrated it’s 10th birthday.

The local community stopped by at 66 Macquarie St to join the celebration.

“It is a great day today. We’re very happy to see people come and celebrate this special day with us today” Lifeline’s Sonia Hollands said.

Lifeline Macarthur has been an important part of the community for the past decade, offering services in crisis support and suicide prevention.

“We’re very grassroots, providing counselling, community education for the local area and … through our Lifeline store,” Ms Hollands said.

The marketing manager only joined the not-for-profit organisation a few months ago but is deeply convicted about its importance.

“It’s a fabulous organisation,” she said. “We’re very pleased to be part of the local community. We are very proud to have been part of the Liverpool community for 10 years and are looking forward to many more to come”

Every dollar we raised via the retail stores is directed back into their core service of saving lives via their telephone crisis support service.

Lifeline Macarthur answer over 2,200 calls a month from their centre which is manned by volunteers who dedicate their time to helping others. Other services include suicide prevention and bereavement support, financial counselling and education programs.

Located a hop, step and a jump from Westfield, our Liverpool store is an Aladdin’s cave of delights … you never know what you might find there.

The Liverpool store is a must-visit for keen bargain hunters.
