The Liverpool Night Markets return on Saturday, 5 July with a great range of food, stalls and entertainment including a feature performance by local hip-hop act The Pioneers, fresh from their recent success in the Australian leg of the Hip Hop Internationals competition.
Part of Liverpool-based youth development project The Street University, The Pioneers are a group of 28 artists from three separate crews. Since they formed in January 2013, they have risen to become one of the country’s most respected dance crews and will head to the US in August to take on the world’s best.
The July Night Markets looks set to attract another bumper crowd with a greater variety of stallholders and entertainment – and plenty of delicious halal food for those observing Ramadan.
