Kevin Vo was inspired to create a pop-up gallery called the Canley Pop-Up Gallery which can be seen at Canley Heights town square and along Canley Vale Rd.
Fairfield Advance reported that with the permission of Fairfield Council and business owners, Mr Vo has hung a series of 12 black and white streetscapes by documentary photographer Markus Andersen.
“There are no restrictions in terms of what we can put up. I’ve mainly used photographs because the subject suits this sort of thing and it’s very accessible” said Mr Vo.
The pop-up gallery is part of the Head On Photo festival, which includes events across Sydney until June 30.
Being part of the festival means Mr Vo is replacing posters torn down or damaged, but usually he would just let them be.
