Local artist from Fairfield Rebecca Williamson showcased her talent at the Fairfield Revealed Exhibition which can be seen at Fairfield Museum and Gallery.
The exhibition features work inspired by Fairfield’s landmarks – parks, gardens and natural environment, and its people, culture and customs.
Fairfield is the most important influence in her art. Williamson was taught by her dad how to paint at a young age.
“My dad always painted, I always helped him out. I never thought I was good enough. I always just like to stay on the sideline. I realised that maybe I was good enough and people seem to like my stuff” said Williamson.
