Theresa Quattromani together with Josephine Borg will hold their 11th morning tea event to support Cancer Council NSW. Residents are invited to enjoy a cuppa and some treats for a good cause at Marion Hall at Horsley Park on Thursday, 1st of May from 10am. This is a large event and each year raises over $20,000. There will be a large raffle, a chocolate wheel.

Marion Catholic Primary School and Horsley Park Public School will perform.

Theresa and Josephine have held a morning tea for the past 10 years and have raised over $136,000 for Cancer Council NSW. They have already held a dinner dance for the Maltese community which raised over $5,000.

“I always admire our community. I will thank them from the bottom of my heart and thats how we raise money, by the generosity of the people,” Ms Quattromani said.

Entry is by donation.

“We ask for donations and residents can have as many cups of tea and cakes as they want,” Ms Quattromani said.

“Josephine and I came up with the idea because I knew so many people who suffered cancer.”

I spoke to Ms Quattromani about their upcoming morning tea:
