The Melbourne Heart surprisingly frustrated the Wanderers to a 1-all draw at Parramatta tonight.

A shocked sold out Wanderland was silenced for a couple of minutes before Mooy responded with a powerful shot minutes before half time (43m) with a powerful shot to equalise the score before the break.

The Wanderers took back control of the game in the second half dominating possession with lots of chances but could not convert any to a much needed goal.

Heart slowed down the end of the second half, causing five minutes of injury time. The Heart received a yellow card for time wasting. The crowd was on edge for the last minutes with Wanderers getting a number of chances to win the match.

Injury prone Harry Kwell made the start list for the first time since Round 1, ready for an on field comeback. The Smithfield raised superstar got a mixed reception from the Red & Black supporters when he got back on the field in the 71 minute.

The Wanderers will be disappointed with the draw and need to regroup ahead of next week’s clash against Newcastle. LIVE on 89.3FM and from 7PM next Saturday.
