Chipping Norton Supermarket Robbed

Police are investigating the robbery of a supermarket at Chipping Norton yesterday.

About 4.50pm (Saturday 17 August 2013), two men entered the Childs Road supermarket and approached the counter.

One of the men stepped behind the counter and demanded the 15-year-old female employee open the cash register.

This man took an amount of cash from the till before both left the area on foot.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Police were contacted and attended the scene.

A search of the area was conducted with the assistance of the Dog Unit. However, the men were not located.

Police from Liverpool Local Area Command are investigating and are looking for two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries. They are described only as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance.
