Police are investigating after a shooting incident in Sydney’s south-west overnight.
About 9.30pm (Wednesday 14 August 2013), emergency services responded to reports of shots fired in the suburb of Heckenberg.
On arrival at the intersection of St Johns Road and Khancoban Street, police found a man with a gun-shot wound to his finger.
The man was taken by ambulance to Liverpool hospital.
A crime scene has been established on Khancoban Street.
Investigators have commenced an investigation and are appealing for any information about the incident, in particular a black sedan that was seen in the area around the time of the incident.
