World Hepatitis Day marks the end of NSW Hepatitis week on Sunday, July 28.
Hepatitis is a serious issue affecting our community.
Breakthroughs in medical research have been achieved making Hepatitis more manageable and curable. However, many people are not getting the right treatement and information.
Stuart Loveday, Chief Executive Officer of Hepatitis NSW, said the biggest problem is people living with the virus do not know how to get treatement.
This is why Stuart stresses why Hepatitis awareness week is so important, so that people living with Hepatitis can begin to find out what they have and how they can get treatment.
